Iara Celeste Diaz born in Manila and raised in New York, is a self-taught painter. Iara’s compositions are inspired by Surrealism, Cubism, Medieval and Renaissance Art and more importantly, Maximalism. In 2014, her paintings Circle Games and Sofia have been invited to auction at Beijing Poly, the world’s third largest auction house. Her painting Pink Moon has been written up as one of Top Six Pick of renowned art critic Matthew Kangas in 2017 Seattle Art Fair. The painting Pink Moon has recently been acquired by Pinto Museum where she is slated to have her first solo show in The Philippines this October. Iara lives and paints in New York City. Her works are in private collections in NYC, Manila, Berlin, Italy, London, and Kenya.
